Kameleoon is compatible with Mapp (formerly Webtrekk) to help you analyze your experiments and personalizations. With the Mapp integration, you can segment your visitors according to the Kameleoon tests and variations they have been exposed to. Key benefits:

Set up Mapp

You need to create an Event Parameter in your Mapp account. Your installation requires this Event Parameter (ID). To do this:
  1. Choose an unused action parameter to track the variation value.
    • You can add this event parameter later to a Mapp Report.
  2. Choose Kameleoon Plugin for Usage Tagintegration(ti).
  3. Select All pages as rule.
IF you use the Kameleoon Personalization Module, you can select Personalization Tracking. You’ve created your event parameter (ID).

Enable Mapp integrations in Kameleoon

To enable Mapp integrations in Kameleoon:
  1. Open the Kameleoon app.
  2. Click Admin > Integrations.
  3. Search for the Mapp integration and click it.
  4. Click Install.
  5. Select the project on which you want to activate Mapp.
  6. Click Install.
You will then see it appear in the installed tab with the number of projects on which you’ve configured the tool.
The data will be automatically pushed to Mapp if you’ve installed it on your pages.

In the Graphic/Code editor

When in the finalization panel:
  • Click Integrations > Mapp.
You will have to validate your choice. The summary pop-in will mention Mapp before you go live. Kameleoon will automatically transmit the data to Mapp and you can view your results directly in the tool.

On the Results page

Once you define Mapp as a reporting tool for an experiment, you can select (or clear) it via the experiment’s Results page. To do this:
  1. Click Reporting Tools > Edit.
  2. Select or clear Mapp.
  3. Click Validate.
