Personalized content changes the text in a widget for each visitor. Instead of a fixed message, a text field can show the value of a custom variable for each visitor.

Insert a custom variable into a text field

To insert a custom variable into a text field:
  1. Select a text element.
  2. In the Text content toolbar, click the three-dots menu, then click Custom variables.
  3. Select a custom variable that you already created. To set a fallback, turn on Define a default value and enter the value. The default value appears if the custom variable’s value is undefined or null.

  1. Click Validate.
