Magnolia is a headless and hybrid content management system that lets teams manage and deliver content across web and digital channels. Magnolia maintains a Kameleoon integration as part of its own platform. The integration lets you configure and run Kameleoon A/B tests directly on Magnolia content pages, without switching between the two applications to manage which content variation each visitor sees.

Where the integration lives

Magnolia builds, hosts, and configures this integration entirely within the Magnolia authoring interface. There’s no setup step to complete from the Kameleoon side, and Magnolia doesn’t appear on the Kameleoon integrations page, since that page only lists tools that Kameleoon itself configures. Prerequisites

To connect Magnolia to Kameleoon, you need the following information from your Kameleoon account:
  • Sitecode: Your project’s Sitecode. See the Kameleoon documentation to learn where to find your Sitecode.
  • API credentials: A client ID and client secret with access to the Automation API, which Magnolia uses to read your Kameleoon experiments and variations. See Retrieve API credentials to find yours.
