Goal tools manage the conversion goals that experiments and feature flags measure. Your assistant can create and edit goals, check how a goal performs over a period, and find the experiments that moved it.

Check goal performance

Two read-only tools answer these questions about a goal:
  • How’s a goal doing? goal_performance_get returns the goal’s KPIs for a period, the change against the previous period, and daily events with unusual days flagged.
  • Which tests moved a goal? goal_experiment_impacts_list lists the variations whose effect reached the site’s reliability threshold, strongest first.

Tools

The MCP server can’t set or read the JavaScript code of a custom goal, because the Automation API doesn’t expose it. When you create a custom goal with goal_create and include code, the assistant adds the code to the experiment’s global script instead.

Parameters

Use the exact parameter names that tools/list returns. Accepted enum values: Goal type is CLICK, CUSTOM, SCROLL, PAGE_VIEWS, URL, TIME_SPENT, RETENTION_RATE, WAREHOUSE, or RATIO_METRICS.
