# Tealium

> Use Tealium AudienceStream badges and audiences as targeting conditions in Kameleoon to create precise segments for A/B tests and personalizations.

Tealium is a data management platform that lets you collect user data and to use it on other platforms. With this integration, you can configure segments and badges to seamlessly create custom segments in Kameleoon, and use the custom segments to create precise targeting conditions for A/B tests and personalizations. You can implement Kameleoon directly from the Tealium iQ interface.

**Key benefits:**

* Use data from the Tealium iQ dynamic data layer in a Kameleoon Custom Data field.
* Combine both online and offline data by using Tealium Audiences and Badges, with all behavioral targeting criteria available within Kameleoon.
* No need to go through a release process in production.

## Activate Tealium on Kameleoon

The first step is enabling Tealium. To do this:

1. Log in to the Kameleoon app.
2. Click **Admin** > **Integrations** > **Install the tool**.
3. Select the projects on which you want to configure Tealium.
4. Click **Validate**.

You will then see an **ON** toggle on the right of the tool's lin, and the number of projects on which the tool is configured.

</Frame>

You can then find your Tealium targeting conditions in Kameleoon.

## Find and use a Tealium segment in Kameleoon

1. Click **External** tools in the Kameleoon segment builder pop-in.
2. Select **Tealium AudienceStream**.
3. Select **Tealium Badge** or **Tealium Audience**.
4. Click and drag to add the targeting condition to your Kameleoon segment.
5. Click **Create**.

</Frame>

You can use this segment in your Kameleoon experiments.

## Use Tealium in a Kameleoon custom data

It is possible to associate Tealium with a custom data's creation in Kameleoon.

In the custom data pop-in, select Tealium as the acquisition method, so you can read the data from the datalayer (`utag_data)`).

Then, finalize the custom data's configuration by filling in the required information. You can associate this custom data with an experiment's segmentation.
