# Add an element

> Find each element type in the Add element panel, grouped into Typography, Survey, Media, Layout, Form, and Product recommendation.

The Add element panel lists every element you can place in a widget. An element is one part of a widget, such as a heading, an image, a button, or an input field. The panel groups the element types into six sections, listed below.

## Add an element to your widget

Click **Add element** in the left sidebar, then click an element type to add it to your widget.
