# Set up a goal campaign

> Apply a goal to an experiment or personalization to start tracking conversions and measuring campaign performance.

## Set up a goal in an experiment

Once you create a goal, you must apply it to an experiment. To do this:

1. Navigate to the **Goals** section in the editor's finalization page. The list of existing goals appears.
2. Select the goal you created.

3. Click **Next**

The goal is applied to your experiment.

## Set up a goal in a personalization

Once you create a goal, you must apply it to a personalization. To do this:

1. Navigate to the **Select goals** section in the personalization creation page.
2. Select an existing goal.

The goal is applied to your personalization.
