# Idea and learning tools

> MCP tools for ideas from PBX Ideate and learnings from past tests.

Idea and learning tools help you choose the next test. Your assistant can read the ideas that PBX Ideate generated for a page, and check whether an earlier test already covered a similar change.

## Find ideas and past learnings

Two read-only tools answer these questions:

* **What should the next test be?** `idea_list` reads the ranked ideas PBX Ideate generated for a page, with the full variation specs.
* **Did an earlier test cover a similar change?** `takeaway_list` returns the learnings that Kameleoon records when you pause or stop an experiment.

## Tools

| `idea_list` | Read the experiment ideas PBX Ideate generated for a page: score-ordered ideas with the component each changes and the full variation specs. Read only; it never starts an analysis. | "What are the top 3 ideas for the checkout page?" |
| `takeaway_list` | List the learnings that Kameleoon records when you pause or stop an experiment: result (win, loss, inconclusive), uplift, revenue, and an AI summary of what the test covered. Filters and sorting match the Takeaways page. | "Did an earlier test cover a free-shipping banner? What did it show?" |

## Parameters

Use the exact parameter names that `tools/list` returns.
